My wife wanted the ultimate retreat. She asked for a spot in the house she could go to all her own. The master bath was old & outdated so it seamed as the perfect choice.
So I started designing the ultimate bath experience. I wanted really cool lighting and a luxury feel for the finishes. The Avonite Studio Collection was perfect choice for both. The glass series made the lighting idea easy. We fabricated hollow columns and set up rope lighting down the center. I also ran the rope lighting under the step to the Jacuzzi and inserted two glass inserts that also light up. I set up the light control station in the closet. It allows me to change the lighting color behind the Frosted Glass.
Doing our part to protect the environment we chose recycled products for the shower walls & floor. The shower wall has an integral soap & shampoo caddy all high gloss. The high gloss vanity has integral Ivory bowls that match the shower ceiling with a full height coved splash.
I also used Avonite for all windows & door trim and finished it all in high gloss too. The room was a complete success. We’re still married!
